A Spartan's Journey is a documentary short film telling the story of Richard Khuu, his journey through life's struggles and how discovering Spartan Races and becoming a Spartan Athelete changed his life.

Growing up, I always looked up to my cousin Richard. He was someone I appreciated and aspired to be like. Around 2016, Richard began to make posts on social media about his participation in Spartan Races. I didn't know much about Spartan Races but seeing him accomplish the physical feats required in these races was insanely impressive and inspiring. I wanted to learn his story, hear why he did these races, and I wanted to tell it for others to hear.
